Friday 7 – Manly West State School Oktoberfest Trivia Night from 7pm at the school hall. Tickets are $15pp or $100 for a table of 8, No BYO alcohol, but bring a plate to share. There will be a raffle, mystery prizes and the night promises to be a whole lot of fun! Fancy dress is optional but there will be a prize for best dressed.

Wednesday 12 – Beyond Blue Bootcamp at Pandanus Beach, Wynnum. Come and joing Fitness First Wynnum at 6am for a 40min bootcamp. All proceeds go to Beyond Blue – $5.00 Sessions for all levels
Friday 14 – SPELD Qld Annual Fundraising Luncheon at Shangri-La Gardens for a two course lunch and beverage package. Proceeds will be used to support the assessment of students in rural and remote Queensland. Featuring Guest Speaker, Jackie French., Fantastic prizes can be won in our silent auction and raffles. Friday 14 – Uprising Youth Festival at Brisbane Bayside College grounds, Network Drive, Wynnum West from 5.30pm This is a free youth festival for grades 6 to 12.
Special guests attending are Samu Kerevi (Wallaby and Qld Red) MYSHON KYD (Hip Hop artist and Andino (Illusionist) plus more. Great games, bubble soccer, entertainment and food. Fireworks at 8.30pm.
