Council Grant Workshop Thursday 6 October
Councillor Peter Cumming, Councillor for Wynnum Manly Ward invites community, sporting and not for profit groups to attend a Council Grant workshop on Thursday 6 October at 1pm to 3pm in the Wynnum Library.
Cr Cumming advises there are 3 grants about to open and some changes have been made to two of the grants.’
Two of these grants have been updated and I encourage sporting and community clubs to submit an application form if they are considering building or expanding their facilities. This is a great way to improve local facilities with council assistance.
The Men’s Shed Grants are specific for local Men’s Shed groups and I also encourage them to apply, said Cr Cumming.

Community Development and Capacity Building Grants for projects that respond to community needs and social inclusion – Grant program will open for application on 7 November 2016
Men’s Shed Grants Program for the development of men’s shed facilities and programs – Grant program will open for application on 7 November 2016.
