Brisbane Open House
Councillor for Wynnum Manly, Peter Cumming has announced that the 2016 Brisbane Open House will be on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 October from 9am to 4pm daily.Brisbane Open House allows members of the public to tour 100 of Brisbane’s most significant heritage homes and some of Brisbane’s newest buildings and structures.
Cr Cumming advised there are lectures, walking tours and a children’s program plus special events and concerts as well as food vans in King George Square during the Open House weekend.
“If you have any interest at all in architecture or heritage buildings, this is a great opportunity to visit the buildings throughout Brisbane and have yourself a great weekend,” said Cr Cumming.
